LeBron Raymone James Sr. is a American basketball professional that plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. The nickname is King James he is widely considered to be among the top athletes of all time. He is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player ever. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships along with 4 NBA MVP Awards Four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He also holds 2 Olympic gold medals. James has scored the most points during the playoffs, the third most points in his career and has the seventh most ever assists. James was selected as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times, and was named on the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. 10 NBA Finals, the most of any player ever. He was a part of eight in a row from 2011 until the year 2018. In 2021 James was chosen to be part of be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 he became the first athlete in NBA history to score 10,000 or more points over the course of his career as well as assists. James was basketball player at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, in Akron Ohio. He received lots of praise from media outlets for his potential NBA success. An aspiring pro, he was picked by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first top pick of the 2003 NBA draft. He was named by the NBA first-year player of 2004. Soon he became one of the best players of the NBA and was awarded the NBA MVP Award both as of 2009 and in 2010. James, who did not achieve the Cleveland championship at the time, left Cleveland as an unrestricted free agent to join as a player with the Miami Heat. This was revealed as part of The Decision.
